Beschreibung

Higher education issues are more than just political. The way in which decisions are made is based on one's philosophy of what is needed or desired for our society. This is the case for the large state university, the private university, and the small liberal arts college. The interplay among the type of the institution; the roles of faculty, students, and administrators; federal and state regulations, and the curriculum determines the very nature of academic freedom. This interplay is educational, political, and philosophical.
