The LEI 2011 conference provides the scientific communities involved in various sub-fields of Extreme Light Infrastructure (ELI) from attosecond science, through laser assisted particle acceleration to nuclear physics, with the opportunity to join and discuss together the most important recent achievements, theoretical predictions, and challenges of the implementation of the research infrastructures.
