8th Circum-Pan-Pacific Symposium on High Energy Spin Physics: PacSPIN2011

Beschreibung

This conference proceedings would be of interest to academic staff and graduate students involved in research in Hadronic, Nuclear and High Energy Theoretical and Experimental Physics. Far from being elementary, the proton is composed of more fundamental quarks and gluons, with QCD believed to be the fundamental theory of the strong force which binds them. One of the most topical tests of QCD is whether it can explain the origin of the spin of the proton. This meeting served to bring together experts in this area from around the world to exchange their latest ideas.
