These proceedings will be of interest to researchers including graduate students and postdocs, particle and nuclear physicists, secondary audiences: condensed matter and astrophysics.
In this conference there were 172 worldwide participants and 140 talks in the plenary and parallel sessions. In particular, it was a great honor that we could invite Professor Yoichiro Nambu and hear his talk as a special lecture on his great achievements in the physics of strong interactions. His paper is also included in this volume. Recent developments in theoretical methods such as effective theories, AdS/CFT and lattice gauge theory are also discussed.
