This enchanting volume comprises the results of recent investigations aimed at understanding the mechanism leading to the creation and decay of strongly interacting particles. The emphasis here is on studies of the production, decay, interaction and structure of mesons eta, eta-prime and kaons. The investigations were carried out at the cooler synchrotron COSY providing beams of protons and deuterons that help create the full spectrum of basic pseudo-scalar and vector mesons.
