“Mauro Engelmann’s book is a contribution to middle Wittgenstein studies that we can be most grateful for. … Engelmann’s book should be among the first to be linked directly from Wittgenstein Source, helping to make the Wittgenstein Nachlass more widely used and useable … . it is Engelmann’s achievement to have given us a much better understanding of its meaning and history than has been available before.” (Alois Pichler, Journal for the History of Analytical Philosophy, Vol. 4 (3), 2016)
